The problem here is there is very little thought that goes into the behaviour of builders and their clients.
Both sides think about what they are to do and ask but once these thoughts are put into your mind, they can't seem to recall them back at the needed time.
Some just call it old age, I call it ignorance and laziness.
It is very easy to write all your thoughts down in contemporaneous form and submit exactly what you are thinking to the required party.
We all bank our thoughts and feel good about it but get confused when the time comes to produce them.
